The following IT systems are in use at the practice:

• SCI Gateway Referrals (using CHI numbers in referrals)
• Electronic Appointment Booking (the facility to book routine appointments online and, similarly, to cancel appointments) (temporarily suspended)
• Online ordering of repeat prescriptions
• Emergency Care Summary (ECS) - automatically lets NHS24/ambulance service/A&E know some of your details (demographics, medication and allergies)
• Key Information Summary (KIS) (only with express consent) lets NHS24/ambulance service/A&E know more infoprmation regarding your medical problems and wishes (if discussed)
• GP to GP transfers (the electronic transfer of records from practice to practice when you re-register
